Aplex PolyPak Piston Rod Seal SKU: 145-200234-999 This 2″ ID x 2 3/4″ OD PolyPak Seal is a critical dual-function dynamic seal for the pony rod area in Aplex SC/MA Series pumps. It consists of a high-performance Polyurethane shell (e.g., Parker’s Resilon®) combined with an internal Nitrile Rubber (NBR) O-ring. The PolyPak design is self-energizing under pressure, offering excellent extrusion resistance and wear resistance. Its primary function is to contain the crankcase lubricant and act as a low-drag wiper seal against external contaminants, making it a core dynamic seal for guaranteeing long pump service life. |
